Una anciana enferma, viuda de un oficial de la guardia civil, que vive inmersa en un delirio de apariencia psicótica, recibe en la masía donde habita la visita de su nieta, Alicia. El encuentro entre las dos mujeres viene marcado desde el principio por la hostilidad de la abuela y desencadena un cúmulo creciente de tensiones relacionadas con el resurgir del siniestro pasado familiar, que da lugar a un brutal enfrentamiento entre ambas. El conflicto se saldará finalmente con la revelación de los horrores que la abuela había mantenido ocultos durante años.

A sick old woman, widow of a civil guard officer, who lives immersed in a psychotic-looking delirium, receives a visit from her granddaughter, Alicia, in the farmhouse where she lives. The meeting between the two women is marked from the beginning by the grandmother's hostility and triggers a growing accumulation of tensions related to the resurfacing of the sinister family past, which gives rise to a brutal confrontation between the two. The conflict will finally be settled with the revelation of the horrors that the grandmother had kept hidden for years.
