Febrero 1976. Los trabajadores del calzado del Vinalopó se movilizan por su convenio. La policía armada mata por la espalda al joven Teófilo del Valle en Elda. Nace el movimiento asambleario del calzado. Un juez intentará que ese crimen no quede impune.

The life of Teófilo del Valle crossed paths with the worker’s demonstration in Elda on 24th February 1976. An armed police officer kills the young worker Teófilo del Valle. It was the first such fatality by armed police since Juan Carlos I became Head of State. The presiding judge endeavours to bring the perpetrator to justice, despite tremendous pressure to suppress incriminating evidence against the accused. The tragic events of that night and the particulars of the outcome that followed have remained hidden for decades. This documentary sheds light on an important part of our history and highlights a period in which, many fought so that we might have the benefit of the rights that we have today.
